The landscape division at Chuck Hafner’s Garden Center offers our customers the option of having our professional lead landscape designer and staff put together beautiful plans and estimates for your outdoor living space. The Landscape division is overseen by our top designer Dan Metz with over 35 years of Landscape design and installation experience.
Our highly trained staff are experts in all phases of landscape and hardscape installations from simple tree installations, up to and including complicated large scale projects.

Landscaping and Design Services
Using our many years of landscaping experience we can guide you through the process of designing & installing your new outdoor living space whether it be a new paved patio, a water feature, poolside plantings, new plantings, or an outdoor kitchen!
The first step in the process is to arrange an appointment with one of our designers so we can come out to your location. At this initial meeting, we look over the area to be landscaped, listen to your ideas, and discuss the kinds of plants that you like. This helps us to create your ideal outdoor space.
Once we have all the information we need the next stage is to produce a scaled color computer design that details the layout and plantings of your new landscaping.
We then meet with you at our offices in Syracuse where you can see the design we have proposed as well as samples of the products we will use in the design (such as stone) and examples of the suggested plants in the Nursery here at Chuck Hafner’s Garden Center.
Once you agree upon the design we can set a date for the installation to begin (installations are always dependent upon the weather!)
Paving and Retaining Walls
Paving and retaining walls can add to any landscape whether it be a pathway to your front door or a patio area with an outdoor kitchen. The addition of a retaining wall can frame and finish your garden adding style or a focal point.
We use only premium products for our patios, paths, and retaining walls from companies including Nicolock and Cambridge.
Our installations are guaranteed for 5 years and are installed by our own ICPI certified installers.
