Frequently Asked Fundraising Questions:
1. Do you deliver out of state?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate out-of-state deliveries.
2. How far away will you deliver?
We typically deliver within 70 miles of our store located at 7265 Buckley Rd, N. Syracuse,
NY 13212. Please inquire if you are outside of our normal delivery range and we will do
our best to accommodate your fundraiser.
3. How long can I leave the poinsettias in their protective sleeves?
Sleeves must be removed within 24-48 hours from pickup or delivery. PLEASE NOTE: If
the poinsettias will be transported more than once, they should remain in their sleeves
(up to 48 hours from when you initially receive them). They should also be moved from
a warm location to a warm vehicle.
4. How do I take the sleeve off the poinsettia without damaging the plant?
Cut the sleeve with scissors from the bottom up.
5. Do I need to water my poinsettias once I get them?
Your poinsettias have been watered prior to your pickup or delivery. Check the soil daily,
keeping soil evenly moist. Let your plants dry in between watering. However, do not
allow plant to dry to wilting point, or sit in excess water in the foil cover. For more
poinsettia care tips, refer to our Poinsettia care sheet.
6. Why do the bows come separate from the wreaths?
To avoid shipping damages.
7. When do I have to pay for my order?
Your order must be paid in full before or at time of delivery.
8. Can I distribute my fundraiser from the store?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate order distribution. Please plan to organize and
hand out orders to your team off site and in a heated location.
9. If I decide to pick up my order; how many poinsettias/ wreaths can I fit in my vehicle?
When planning on how many poinsettias or wreaths you can transport; each poinsettia
takes up approximately 2” more than the size of the pot (Approx 8” per plant). Wreaths
are approximately 22” in diameter and can be laid flat and stacked as high as you’d like.
Bows will be packaged separately in a box depending on how many you have ordered.
REMEMBER* Poinsettias need to be protected in a heated vehicle no less than 55
degrees, even a few minutes of exposure can cause damage. Wreaths are fine in the
cold and can be left uncovered in the back of a truck.
10. What kind of vehicle do I need to pick up my order?
Poinsettias need to be protected in a heated vehicle no less than 55 degrees, even a few
minutes of exposure can cause damage. Wreaths are fine in the cold and can be left
uncovered in the back of a truck.
