Return Policy & Nursery Guarantee

Chuck Hafner’s Farmer’s Market and Garden Center is committed to providing our customers with a pleasant and rewarding shopping experience. We pride ourselves on carrying the highest quality products and the healthiest plants in CNY. We realize that not every purchase works out as planned and are happy to offer returns based on the following guidelines. Please note, refunds will be given in the form of tender, and items paid by check cannot be refunded for 10 business days.

Home & Garden Goods Return Policy

Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase and accompanied by an original sales receipt. Merchandise must be returned in the same condition as when purchased and in original packaging. Seasonal holiday items such as Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas must be made within 7 days of purchase, and we are unable to accept returns after the holiday.

Exempt Items Consumable products, Delivery Service Charges, Gift Cards, and Final Sale items ending in $.97.

Live Plant Return Policy

Live plants require daily care; therefore, we cannot offer refunds once they have been away from our care for 24hrs. All live plant returns must be accompanied by the original sales receipt, must be in the same growing condition as when they left, and will be subject to a quality inspection.

Nursery Guarantee

We hand select and grow only the highest quality nursery stock for outstanding performance in your landscape. Our nursery stock is in prime growing condition when it leaves our garden center, both pest and disease free.

*Original sales receipt AND failed plant are required for Nursery Guarantee.

Trees, Shrubs & Grasses

Guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase at 50% of the purchase price. If your plant should fail within 1 year of purchase, please return to our nursery with both the plant and original sales receipt. We will be happy to provide you with a Chuck Hafner’s store credit for 50% of the purchase price.

Perennials and Roses

Guaranteed from the date of purchase until October 31st of the current growing season only. If your plant should fail during the growing season, please return to our nursery with both the plant and original sales receipt. We will be happy to provide you with a Chuck Hafner’s store credit for 50% of the purchase price.

Guarantee Exempt Items

Annuals, Hanging Baskets, Tropical Plants, Nursery Stock labeled either annual or non-hardy to our zone, Sod, and Final Sale items ending with $.97.
